Key information about the vacancy enquiry form
What is this form for?
The purpose of the vacancy enquiry form is to put you in touch with social care employers who have job opportunities in your area.
How does it work?
When we receive your completed form, we send your details to social care companies in Leicestershire who are registered with Inspired to Care.
Employers who have vacancies in your area will get in touch for an informal chat about their job opportunities.
It's up to you and the employer to decide whether to progress onto a formal application.
What types of jobs are available?
There are part-time, full-time, permanent and temporary job vacancies in community care, residential care, supported living, and other types of adult social care services. There are jobs available working with adults with learning and/or physical disabilities, older age adults, and jobs in mental health support services.

What are the requirements?
You do not need experience or qualifications to start a job in adult social care. Your employer will provide you with all the training you need to be confident in your new role. All they require is that you have the essential values and behaviours that mean you will help them to deliver high-quality care to the people they support.

Who would be my employer?
Inspired to Care / Leicestershire County Council are not the employer for these roles. We are working with adult social care providers across Leicestershire to help them to find new care and support professionals (also known as care assistants or support workers).
Your employer would be the company who offer you a role which you decide to accept.
Are there any volunteering opportunities?
There is an option to select you are interested in volunteering placements. You can also visit our general vacancy page, or the Voluntary Action Leicester website.
