Recognising LGBTQ+ Allyship

To highlight the commitment of our member organisations, we have created the Inspired to Care LGBTQ+ Ally Logo. This symbol represents a company's dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive workplace for LGBTQ+ employees and communities.

Look out for this logo on our members' websites, social media, and recruitment materials, showing their commitment to diversity and inclusion.

What It Means to Be an Ally

Being an ally involves more than just passive support; it requires active participation in advocating for and uplifting marginalised communities. Effective allies listen, learn, and take action to promote equality and inclusion. This includes educating oneself about LGBTQ+ issues, challenging discriminatory behaviours, and supporting policies that protect LGBTQ+ rights.

Educational Resources

To better understand allyship and how to be an effective ally, we recommend the following resources:

How to Be an LGBTQIA+ Ally – A practical guide to supporting LGBTQIA+ friends and colleagues.

Being an LGBT Ally at Work – Employees from Capgemini share insights on supporting LGBTQ+ colleagues in the workplace.

We encourage all our members and visitors to engage with these resources to deepen their understanding of allyship and to actively contribute to creating inclusive environments for all.

At Inspired to Care, we believe that by working together, we can build a community where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered.
