Our Senior Care Assistants are expected to work in the Hinckley/Burbage and Nuneaton area.

Responsibilities

  • To assist our residents with all areas of their care needs and daily living
  • Delivering personal care including washing.
  • Complete daily records
  • Always ensure the safety of our residents
  • Upkeep of care plans
  • Auditing
  • Alternate weekends are required to cover visits and complete on call duties
  • Responding to queries in a positive, professional, and friendly manner
  • Office administration tasks i.e. responding to emails, filing paperwork etc.
  • Completing sign-ups for new clients
  • Liaising with teams within the business to ensure a reliable and consistent service.
  • Shadowing in new candidates to clients.
  • Ensure that all the paperwork is accurate, and that Birdie is up to date and accurately reflected.
  • To start care provision with new clients as required, which includes, assisting with Care Planning, inputting information into Birdie, scheduling the first calls with client and when applicable introducing and supporting new Care Professionals during this process.
  • To proactively liaise with our client's families and partners with fellow office team members to ensure effective communication channels and highest customer services are provided.
  • To ensure the care provided is fully compliant with CQC and Home Instead Senior Care policies and regulations.
  • To actively participate in all Care Professional meetings – This would include being responsible for setting up meeting room, preparing all paperwork for Care Professionals that they may need, organizing sign in sheets, participation in presentation as arranged with the Care Manager, tidying away after meeting.
  • To provide care to clients as needed as requested by the schedulers

Qualifications

· Previous experience in care is our only requirement! We can teach you the rest.

· You will need access to your own transport.

· Varies. Please note covering shifts is necessary for this position and short notice may be given.
