PA/carer required for an entertaining individual

The Role
An entertaining individual requires some support accessing activities in the community.
Preferred days/times:
3 hours Monday 6.30-9.30pm
3 hours alternate Wednesdays 6.30-9.30pm and 3 hours flexible the following week
Tasks/duties:
The client will need supporting with activities including meal and recipe planning/ walking his dog/ going to local activities/ accessing clubs.
Some personal care may be required intermittently.
The PA will be required to drive the client's wheelchair accessible vehicle and have a full, clean, UK driving licence and be over 25 due to insurance needs.
Client main diagnosis:
Neurodiverse and a Sensory processing disorder amongst other health conditions
Communication:
Communication can be variable due to health conditions, at times there may be Slurred speech, they sometime use an AAC talker to aid communication
Moving and Handling:
The client requires support with all transfers; they use a wheelchair to mobilise
Client enjoys:
Cinema, bowling, making blankets and has a good sense of humour.
Pets:
It is important that you like dogs, the client has a large dog friendly dog that can be quite lively. You may occasionally need to be with him, this might include taking him for a walk with the client.
This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, patient, and proactive.
