Overview

Company: Direct Payment Recipient, Ref: PH280690 Location: Hinckley & Twycross Job Type: Part-Time Hourly Rate / Salary: £18 per hour for self-employed PA’s, £14.44 per hour for directly employed PA’s. Working Hours: 10 hours per week, days/times to be discussed.

The Role

PA to prepare meals and drinks. Assist with dressing and undressing including some personal care and hair washing.

Preparing medication and maintaining medication levels.
General household duties such as cleaning, washing up and making a note of shopping needed.

Maintaining and cleaning of medical equipment.
Maintaining calendar, reminding of appointments and catheter changes, etc.

Walking the dog. Trips out for shopping, appointments and social occasions.

Assisting with any additional requests as needed.
PA will need access to their own vehicle.

There will be an element of manual handling such as, lifting a wheel chair in and out of the car. Carrying shopping and boxes of catheter bags.

She enjoys going to the garden centre, having fish and chips from the chip shop occasionally, really enjoys her garden.

There is a small dog that lives in the property so PA must be ok with him.

Post is for 10 hours including evening and weekends but specific days and times are flexible and can be discussed at interview.

There will also be a need holiday and sickness cover.
