The Role
Preferred days/times: 1 hour AM calls Monday- Sunday 4 hours per week for social inclusion within the community and light domestic tasks Tasks/duties: Prompting medication, breakfast and lunch preparation Four hours per week to be used flexibly for light domestic tasks, shopping and social inclusion Client main diagnosis: Stroke which caused right-sided weakness. The client likes to be as independent as possible Type 2 diabetes - medication controlled High Cholesterol Asthma Hypertension Degenerative spondylitis Anterior Uveitis. Hearing Loss Moving and Handling: No moving and handling support required The client walks indoors with a stick and requires a wheelchair when out in the community They can transfer by themselves Client enjoys: The client likes to go out into the community which they have not been able to do for some time due to requiring support with using the wheelchair. There are no pets at the property This opportunity is suited for someone who is responsible, reliable, positive and proactive and ideally with an appreciation of other cultures.
