The Role
Duties: Client is highly intelligent with a keen interest in politics (not strictly aligned with one party); and would like to work in politics and employment rights for people with disabilities; football statistics, Computer/business. Client requires someone to work with them and enable access to routes within the community they are passionate about. Support with community engagement/activity (to build trust and rapport, then may start to support with household tasks to build skills -this would be further down the journey). Support with days out exploring new cities and towns – Due to this a driving licence and access to a car with business insurance would be advantageous. Anything else you need to know: There are cats and one dog (Labrador) in the property. Client can display challenging behaviours towards family. However, this has not presented itself with members of the public/previous PA support. The ideal person will be flexible, reliable, proactive and have relevant previous experience. This is a long-term part-time role. To work on a 1:1 basis. To assist to maximise independence and to access community social and recreational activities. Genuine applicants only please.
